He married (2) MATILDA LEVY 22 August 1883 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia. regno. 4890, daughter of SIMEON LEVY and MENA APERTOSKY. She was born 1 April 1864, and died 1 November 1935 in Melbourne, Victoria, Australia.. Notes for JOSHUA OTTOLANGUI: Joshua married his first cousin Sarah, daughter of his father's older brother Aaron. Joshua and Sarah would have known each other as children, as they lived virtually next door to each other when they were still in England, (Joshua at 29 Shepherd St, and Sarah at 25 (28?) Shepherd St) In 1865 he was at 206 Bourke St (his older brother Jacob's address) - (from birth cert. of Emma) In 1898, at 269 Elizabeth St (from Death cert of Emma, his mother). His marriage at Coventry Street, Emerald Hill 19th May 1880 to Sarah gives his name as Ben Joshua Ottolangui, and he has signed his name the same. Marriage 19.5.1880 at the residence of the brides uncle , George Mendas, Emerald Hill, by Rev Dr Jacobson assisted by Rev M Saunders youngest son of Moses Ottolangui of Melbourne to Sarah , third daughter of the late Aaron Ottolangui of London.16.7.1880 SARAH OTTOLANGUI: Arrived in Australia on board the Afgan in 1879 presumably accompanied by her Cousin David (son of Moses) who was also on board. Sarah's age as reported in the Index of Public Records Office Victoria, Inwards passengers (1852-1889) was 23, although she should have been a couple of years younger according to her DOB (1858).
