Notes for MARTHA ANN DOSSETT: Some time before 1883, George Buist must have died & Martha remarried as a widow. Notes for GEORGE BUIST: It would appear that George Buist's father was a 'Glass Merchant' & he owned a China & Glass Warehouse in Lyttleton, Christchurch, NZ in the 1870's & 1880's. We need to consider the possibilty that Martha Dossett met George Buist in Dunedin. Maybe George Buist was working for his father & went to Dunedin to see David Ottolangui/Langley on business, who was also a Glass & Crockery Dealer.
