Many Jewish teachers feel that they are working in a void. They have limited contacts among their peers and colleagues within the school setting. An occasional conference or reference to professional literature is limited in value. Jewish teachers need to consult regularly with other Jewish teachers about issues of importance or relevance.

The Jewish Teaching forum fills this void. It links Jewish teachers around the world, and offers mutual assistance and guidance. Jewish Teaching demonstrates that our Jewish children can study Kodesh and secular subjects - such as English, math, arithmetic, social studies, biology, chemistry, physics, French, Spanish, history, geography, languages, spelling, arts and crafts, and even gym - according to Jewish principles and concepts.

Example

A Jewish Teaching subscriber presented a vivid method for relating to the ancient historical tragedy of Tisha B'Av. Some other subscribers suggested that the presentation was too traumatic for young children, while others recommended alternative but equally effective teaching strategies.
