My name is Tamatra J. Davenport. I'm originally from New Orleans, Louisiana. I've always had this great big attraction to animals ever since I was approximately 5 years old. I remember like it was yesterday, getting yelled at by my mother for staying out for many hours only to come home smelling like a pet shop. She wasn't to fond of my obsession for animals. Fortunately she still supplied me wth the necessary tools to study up on them quite ofen. Children Encyclopedia's was where I first started to read about Dogs. My mother always found a bookmark in the "D" section of the Encyclopedia Britanica. (smile)
