Camouflage

NOTE: I have no info on desert camo because I don't play in one.

     To be an effective sniper, you must be invisible to the enemy. This means, he cannot see you. You must also be stealthy, but that is in another section
There are two types of camouflage available to snipers:
1.) Printed Camo
2.) Ghillie Suits and other 3D Camouflage
                                              Printed Camouflage
Printed camouflage is the kind you see everyday. The kind that the Military uses. These work well (If not, why would the Department of Defense spend millions each year perfecting camo designs.) in green environments. If you are on a very tight budget, get this. Also, the Real Tree camo works well in wooded environments. If you are making a ghillie, get the BDU the Military uses. there are various other camo that works well such as Sticks and Leaves, and the new Marine BDU. This stuff only works in green environments, thiugh.

                                                  3D Camouflage
     3D Camo works better than any printed camo because it breaks up your outline. Would a person be more likley to fhoot a person shaped object or a brush like object? The 3D camo I'm talking about isn't a ghillie, but the 3D Leafy Wear. It is a bunch of fake leaves that are placed on the body. These work well in spots ful of dead leaves, and th place in a ghillie. This is the best you can get if you are on a very tight budget. But nothing will ever be better than:

                                                 THE GHILLIE SUIT

     The ghillie suit is burlap that is attached to a net, which is sewn into a jcaket. The ghillie suit breaks up the out line like nothing else, and you can stick natural vegetation in it (Note: I am not responsible if you get poison ivy or any other kind of rash) This is what profesional snipers use. Contrary to the belief of some, a ghillie is not meant to make you look like a bush or tree stump. It is meant to make your opponents believe that there is nothing to look at where you are. At least nothing that needs closer inspection. A ghillie is used to make you unnoticable. You can buy them from various places (Bushrag and Sniper 1. Check out the 10th gen suits from Sniper 1 .) Or you can make your own. There are various sights that give instructions to make one. If you can afford one, get a ghillie suit. They are THE BEST.

                                                   Gun Camouflage

    Use camouflage cloth tape (Not Duck tape. It is too shiny. Remember to avoid shiny guns.) as the first layer (Don't tape moving parts) Then, add burlap to the gun using rubber bands. Finally, add natural or artificial vegetation to the gun. You can make your own, or buy gun wrap anf tank and hopper covers from Bushrag.

      Now you know how to camouflage yourself and a good gun to snipe with. Now all need need is too learn how to shoot your gun accuratly and how to move without being seen.
