Marksmanship
The growing trend in the paintball world today is higher rates of fire and other things the push technology. All is useless without basic skill. You need to be able to hit your target first.

First, befor target practice, mark of different lengths. First, shoot from 20 feet, then 40, then 50, then 60, then 80, and finally 100. After that, mak sure you hold you marker properly. You must grip it tight, so it dosn't slip. When you first start out, prop your gun against somrthing, or use your bipod if you have one. You must breathe properly, have good aim, and good trigger control. If you don't, you will miss. If you have bad aim, you will hit various points all over the target. If you get too excited and breathe too fast, you will shoot in a verticle pattern. If you have bad trigger control, you will pull to the left or right. To aim better, aim consitently. To breathe better, calm yourself down by gently exhaling. To stop jerking when you soot, sqeeze the trigger, don't pull it. Eventually, you will get a smaller and smaller pattern. After you can shoot at 30 feet or less, you must be able to distance shoot. Learn to judge distance using trees and objects. One you learn to jude distance when knowing how far you are away, take off the things used to mark distance, and place targets at various lengths. You will become better and better, until it is nearly impossible for you to miss.
