This webpage is dedicated to my husband, Charlie. He has made me realize that dreams really can come true, and made me the happiest woman in the world. Even in bad times, (and God knows we have had our share of them since we've been together) he has stood beside me and been my strength, when I thought I couldn't carry on. I have been blessed in so many ways, since I found him. He is my best friend. And so, I dedicate this page to Charlie, my dream-come-true! |
Welcome to our webpage! Our names are Charlie and Anita. We live in South Carlolina with our 16 year old son,Brandon. Charlie is the Assistant Operations Manager for an A/C & Heating company , and Anita is a homemaker. We recently moved here from Florida. We bought a home which is 128 years old, and are in the process of renovating it. |
We met on the internet, in a chat room that Anita owned. Charlie's sister always came in and chattted, and she and Anita got to be pretty good friends. One night, she said something about her brother. Anita wouldn't let her live it down that she never mentioned having a brother and wanted to talk to him. So, Charlie got on the keyboard, and that was all it took-- Anita wanted to meet him in person! We lived about 3 hours away from each other. We all made plans to meet in person. Charlie and his sister and her husband drove down to where Anita lives. We went to an ice hockey game. After that, Charlie asked Anita out--where we could be alone and get to know each other better. Things progressed, and feelings grew. We decided that Charlie should move in. We started making wedding plans, then found out we were pregnant. Then we found out it was twins, and put the wedding on the back burner. Our house turned into a baby factory, with 2 of everything. Then tragedy struck..that story is on page 2 of this webpage. We were married on June 16, 2001. |
Anita had never seen a sunset at the beach, even though she lived in Florida. So, on their first date, Charlie took her to the beach to watch the sunset. What he hadn't planned on was that big black cloud that came rolling by JUST as the sun was getting ready to set. Oh well, it gave him a reason to take her out again. The next time, he got it right, and the sunset was beautiful! Sunsets have become almost a "symbol" for us. You will understand more when you view page 2. |
