Wear Your Stripes

Bones exploded in your face
tore scars that time cannot erase
They're the signs of your disgrace
that are these days so commonplace

Thump my bass
hump my face
jump my case
but don't bump my space

Flowing silks and leopard prints
Houses filled with incense
mingled leather, sweat, and tears
words driven to the hilt in the one who hears

Hot spots
Hot shots
two obnoxious
little snots

money earned
money burned
so much yearned (for)
nothing learned

Can't take you hearts desire to the bank
don't expect one once of thanks
Get out while the time is ripe
Keep your head high and proudly wear your stripes
