In Loving Memory of
Benjiman Brian Bangert
June 27, 1986 - June 28, 1986

Dear Ben, This Is Tiff.
I love you so much, but I wonder "what if..."

we had the chance to do brother/sister things,
the chance to see you fall, winter, summer, springs;
the chance to do all the stuff brothers
and sisters are famous for ,

Your memory is held in my heart,
which is an open door.
Lil brother, I will remember you...
I remember my last view;
I thought you were sleeping,
I did not understand
that you had gone to Heaven - a distant land.

I didn't know I would not see you
for a very long time,
so I gave you my favorite stuffed animal,
my elephant whose name was "Mine."

I didn't speak very much back then
but I said "Mine" and "Baby"
I carefully gave "Mine" to you that day.

Ever since that time,
elephants are a favorite of mine!
I Will Always Love You!
My little brother,
never are you forgotten;

Forever are you loved;
You are my bubba.

Tiffy at the time of Benjiman's death...and today!

Tiffany is a bright and beautiful young woman of 18 who was 2 when her brother Benjiman passed away. We may think that children don't absorb what is going on around them, but they do. They also have thoughts and feelings of their own.

This page is unusual in that the words are strictly from Tiffany to Benjamin, and I may have rearranged them for poetic purposes. Tiffy is singing the beautiful song, "In The Arms Of TheAngels." I don't doubt that she has needed to say these things for a very long time. She has a sweet and beautiful Mom, Pammi.

Tiffany's Prayer for Benjiman

Once upon a dream, I looked out among the stars
And watched a scene of Angels playing their guitars
It's for you and me and anyone who needs to know
There is a Heaven, a better place not far away...to go.

And I wonder
If your purpose in this life
Was to light my way,
To guarantee we will meet in Heaven...
One sweet day..

Benjiman, I am now 18 years old.
Many years have passed since I shared "Mine"with you...
it will be 18 years this June.
I love you so much and I always will.
Your sis,
Tiffy
