Wegman's grocery chain owns a huge "egg factory"
in Wolcott, NY where thousands of hens are kept in filthy, crowded
misery. Compassionate Consumers entered this facility, took video
footage and rescued a few of the hens who were drowning in the manure
pit under the rows of cages.
