Ruth lives on Vancouver Island and the natural beauty around her inspired her to fulfill a lifetime longing to paint. Her studio is situated in her garden surrounded by flowers and forest... hence "Wildwood Gallery".

Ruth has shown her work in galleries throughout the Victoria area and many of her pieces are in corporate and private homes throughout North America.

Ruth paints to relax and has tried to create a soft, quiet feeling in her artwork and hopes that you feel it too.
