October 2000's 'Late' Site Letter....
October brings Fall, and Fall brings: Anastasia anniversary! Yes, November 21st marks the three (3!) year anniversary of everyone's favorite movie. So much planning to do! Let's make this anniversary one to remember!
We're getting some excellent stories at the Fan Fiction and Somewhere in Time pages! Read about your favorite Anastasia characters, learn about other historical periods, and make sure you give your comments to the authors in the forums!
Please remember that even if you're acting nicely in the forums, rude mails to the webmistresses or other viewers of AJ will NOT be tolerated. We do a lot to keep this site up, and we don't appreciate people telling anyone mean things, then turning around and 'playing nice' in the forums. We have the power to block you from the discussion areas -- respect the rights of others as well as the site moderators. Keep up the rules, and the site can remain a fun place for everyone in the spirit of Anastasia!

September 2000 Dear Site Viewers,
What a month August was! Some of you will remember it as the month Survivor ended. Kelly remembers it as the month her server was almost totally down!! :( Jen remembers it as the month she bravely carried on with the AJ work while Kelly's server was going nutso for a few weeks!!
Yes, we've been way behind. Technology stinks! Not only that, but Kelly and Jen are busy with school, work, and barely able to fit in family and social lives, as well as the big update! So no more snide remarks please! We don't like hearing "What, you guys on vacation?" or "Where are all the updates?" too much, since we would LOVE a vacation that we're unable to take with all of this work!!
The big update is SLOWLYYYYY coming along (quite well, may we add). We were hoping August, but obviously looks like later. A few more months?
Keep sending in feedback, and extra special thanks for the supportive chats we've had with Anya, Sherrie', Lauryn, Veronica, Nancy, and Nina!

August 2000's Site Letter
Dear Site Viewers,
August -- the end of summer, the beginning of a new year -- holds many exciting things in store for everybody, Anya's Journey being no exception!
Despite spats in some of the forums and chats, everything seems to be cleared out and calm once again. We're getting lots of chatters, and several friends have been made across the site! Our Bravenet chat is now PRIVATE, so don't worry about random and annoying surfers drifting their way in!
Around 20% of the "Really Big Update" is going!! Never fear, we're not pushing aside the fan fiction and fan art, but we are putting a temporary halt to a few other features in the meantime. We've gotten LOTS of support, and we really appreciate it!
Don't forget to ask for updates in the booth!

June 2000's Site Letter
Dear Readers,
Summer is finally here which means sleeping in late, beaches, no school, and, of course, more time to watch Anastasia (over and over and over and over!).We have some big stuff coming up, but unfortunately it's really been holding us back from updating besides the usuals (fanart, fanfiction, Dimitri Tonight, some picture gallery work, etc.). The biggest thing will probably be the largest update we've ever done -- and we think you'll really like it! It's a big secret that no one's heard about yet, and we're incredibly excited! Please bear with us as we try and get everything settled.
Also, Dimitri Tonight will be aired a little late this month due to some difficulties encountered. It seems Cale's time machine had a little trouble coming to see us, but we're sure to figure out a way around this!
There's some great discussions going on at the various forums around the site. Check out the Titan A.E. forum for spoilers on the new Fox animated movie, the Main forum for chatting on everything from favorite costumes to the real Romanovs, and the Fan Fiction Forum to praise your favorite author or request a story! Things are really picking up drastically with school out, so don't be afraid to jump right in!
You may be away from the three "R"s, but keep sending in the three "F"s (feedback, fanfic, and fanart!)

They say April Showers Bring May Flowers, but what do May Flowers bring?
Dimitri's allergies!
Just kidding of course (although they brought Kelly's around!). What May DOES bring is lots of changes and updates to Anya's Journey. We have lots in store, from our now monthly regulars (Dimitri Tonight, Author of the Month, etc) to all new site specials. However, we need you to keep sending in your requests!
Dimitri's estatic to find out that his Dimitri Tonight talk show did great in the ratings! We have a message from him to give you:
"Thanks for sending in ideas, because I want to interview who YOU want me to! I still need lots more though, so don't stop now! You'll also get a personalized message from *ME* when you write -- come on, what's stopping you? Keep those letters coming in! Oh, and remember, new episodes are aired on the 9th (or around) of every month, so don't be worried if you don't see it up until then!"
He tried to hog more of the Site Letter, but we only let him have his paragraph. ;D

April 2000's Site Letter
Dear Readers,
April 1st marked our one year anniversary!! Here's to another year of meeting friends, working till all hours of the night (*yawn*), and brainstorming!
We hoped to get more updates done in March then we were able too because of technical problems. Hopefully April will be a prosperous and update filled month!
We'd like to give an official round of applause to the artisans associated with our site. Check out the fanart and fanfic archives -- they're brimming with new and fresh talent on all levels!
If you like our page and have ideas for it, make sure and vote for them on the Updates Booth. Your pleads are heard, and we're working extra long hours to get them up. Between schooling, family, and the page, we're extremely busy, so please don't be offended if things aren't quite like you want them right that moment -- we're working away!
