Third one was Benji he was 13 in 2002 year old Schnauzer, he was hubby's Grandma's and she lived in Tucson, Arizona and she passed away and Great Aunt paid for him to fly to Michigan, we adopted him sight unseen.in 1992 he was 2 years old
He came higher then a kite, because my Father-in-law thought one pill wasn't working to fly, so he got two, and finally after 3-4 days to come down from his trip and he is my shadow now, he lived with two little old ladys, and took 6 months to like my hubby,he had cataracts the at 2 years old, and did ok if we didn't move the furniture, but is getting worse now! Great Aunt said she would pay for the surgery, until she heard $1,800.oo for each eye. But he gets around OK.Until 2003 I had bloodshot eyes and the vet thought I had pink eye, treated with many weeks of drops, now we had to go to a specialist/opthomalogist and I an starting Glacoma in my right eye, so drops for the rest of my life!! He was growling when w sis hia drops so we knew it was time to have him go to doggie heaven so on June 13, 2003 we put him down with his brother Freddie our cocatiel, What a big mistake putting them down together.
