TRIKALA today can offer many vertical emotions for every visitor. Except the known to everyone METEORA, the greater area of Trikala is full of limestone rocks, the majority of them being appropriate for sport climbing and not only. So, around the city are 5 main cliffs, located in distances from 14 to 28 Km.

The positive point of this is that because of the diverse orientation, you can chooce a place for climbing dispite the season, summer or winter. In some of them of course, you have the possibility for full year climbing, if you choose the right time of the day for a visit.

Likewise, the anaglyph ranges much from one crag to another and this implies a big repertoire of routes with varius characters and demands.

The advantage in this is that the anaglyph as well as the routes themselves, don't allow to impress the feeling of monotony in anyone climber with any requests. The grades are almost for everybody. They begin from 5c to 8c and the most of the routes are from 6b to 8a.
