Who is Shari Mathias? 

Chances are if you are here it's because you know me, knew me once upon a time, linked to this site from one of my social networking profiles, or you simply did a search for my name.  So you probably already know a lot of what is listed here.  However, if you still want to know more about me, read on...

I'm 31 now and have been married for 5 years to James.  We live in the Denver metro area.  We have a beautiful beagle/coon hound mix dog named Abbie.

I work in marketing (SEO and web analytics) for eBags, the largest online retailer of handbags, luggage, laptop bags, and more.  Prior to that, I worked for an online shopping rewards program called Memolink.  For more work information, please see my resume.

I play the cello and most recently played with RMCC and a local Denver band called Bad Penny.  I also write poetry in my spare time when I'm not playing video games, watching football, or taking day trips with James around Colorado.

I am originally from California (Bay Area and Los Angeles) and graduated from Granada High School in Livermore, CA in 1996.  In 2000, I graduated from UCLA with a Bachelors (BA) in English with a Business Specialization.  I then graduated with a Masters (MA) in Integrated Marketing Communications from the Journalism School at CU Boulder.
