1992 Stars; G.D. Spradlin, Shirley Jones, C. Thomas Howell, and Jenilee Harrison. Sergeant-Major Zack Carey (James Garner) is completing his last tour of duty in the Army, in a small southern town. When Zack arrives at his new post with wife (Shirley Jones), and son (C. Thomas Howell), he draws a bit of attention to himself with his rebuilt, restored WW2 Sherman Tank. After defending a prostitute (Jenilee Harrison) he finds himself doing battle with the towns sheriff (G.D. Spradlin). When the sheriff arrests Zack's son on a phoney drug charge, Zack tries every way he knows how to get his son released but when all fails, he takes matters into his own hands, with the help of his Sherman Tank. |
