2003 Reunion of the World Famous “Checkertail Clan”
Charleston, SC

If you are a former member of the "Checkertail Clan" or the family member
of a former member, you shouldn't miss out on this opportunity to meet old
friends or to make new ones.

Tentative Schedule of Events

Tuesday September 16th:

“Early Birds” evening gathering in the lobby to catch up on the past year.

Wednesday September 17th:

10:00am to 4:00pm Hospitality Room open Free day to shop, dine out, visit or rest up from the traveling.

Thursday September 18th:

10:00am – ? Hospitality Room open

1:00pm – 4:00pm Tour to Boone Hall Plantation
Cost $30.00 per person

Boone Hall Plantation Tour includes guided tour of the plantation, mansion, slave cabins, gardens and cotton docks. A drive thru the Isle of Palms, Sullivan’s Island, Breach Inlet and the old Village of Mt. Pleasant, to view the USS Yorktown.

Friday September 19th:

10:00am – ? Hospitality Room open

2:00pm – 5:30pm City Tour and Citadel Parade
Cost $35.00 per person

Tour of the historic district including the College of Charleston. At the waterfront, stroll along the Battery, hear about Fort Sumter and Pirates Gallows. Touyr concludes with a trip to the Citadel Military College and Friday Dress Parade.

Saturday September 20th:

9:00am – 10:00am Business Meeting

12:00pm – 3:030pm Charleston Harbor Cruise
Cost $25.00 per person

Hear about the raising of the Hunley and view Fort Sumter, Fort Moultrie, Morris Island and the beautiful ante-bellum homes on High Battery.

3:00pm – 4:00pm Hospitality Room open

6:30pm Dinner
Cost $23.00 per person
