Our first reunion went well. A total of 11 former members attended, some bringing their significant others. Those attending included a pilot, a backseater (with a MiG kill), an F-105 crew chief, an ECM pod man, a couple of munition guys, a couple of A&E guys, and a couple of EB-66 guys. A real good cross section of the wing.
The 1998 355th TFW reunion was held at the Holiday Inn - Dayton Mall on I-75 at exit 44. The main event for our first reunion was the World War I Aeroplane Fly-in held on the Air Force Museum grounds. The weather was a little on the hot side with temperatures in the upper 80's but everyone enjoyed seeing the WWI aircraft flying. There was a total of 18 flying WWI replica aircraft present. Aircraft represented included Nieuport's, Sopwith's, Fokker's and a Jenny.
Some of these aircrafts were built from kits and others were scratch built. One aircraft even had the old style rotary engine where the crankshaft is bolted to the frame of the aircraft and the propeller, engine and all, rotated about the crankshaft.
Here are photographs of some of the aircraft at the Fly-In:

I'm not sure if I have these identified properly or not. If you can identify these aircraft, let me know so I can correctly identify them here.
