The Grissom Mini Reunion went well. A total of 13 former members attended, some bringing their significant others. The Mini Reunion was held at the Grissom Air Museum at the entrance to the Grissom Air Reserve Base. Frank Venters arranged for us to tour the base fire station with Mike Krisko as our guide.
Some of the aircraft at the museum included a B-17, B-25, B-47, B-58, C-119, C-47, and an F-4 just to name a few. One of the more prominent aircrafts is an F-11 that was an actual Blue Angels bird. Of course, the plane of choice was their F-105D #61-088. The F-105 is in need of a paint job
