| Name: Yamato "Matt" Ishida Age: 11 Hair colour: Blonde Eye colour: Blue Crest: Friendship Family: Divorced mother (Natsuko Takaishi) and father (David Ishida), little brother (Takeru Takaishi). In season one, Yamato is precieved as the "rebel" or "cool one" of the group of Digidestined. The type who secludes himself, thinks he's better than everyone else, doesn't show any emotion, and doesn't try to make friends with anyone, y'know? At first he acts like the only person he cares about it Takeru, his little brother. He doesn't seem to work very well with "leader figures", which is why he doesn't listen to a word Taichi says. ^^; He seems to befriend everyone else towards the end of season one. It is said in the North American dubbed version that Takeru in Yamatos's half brother. Of course, they lied. e.e; Takeru is, in fact, Yamato's full brother. When they're parents divorced, Natsuko took Takeru to live with her, and David took Matt to live with him. Yamato also plays the hermonica. |

| Wow. =D He's tall, got long blonde hair, gorgeous blue eyes, and he's the lead singer of a band. In season two, Yamato's fourteen, and he's in high school. He's ditched the hermonica for a sexy electric guitar. <3 I'm not sure if his hair grew or if he just doesn't use as much hair gel in season two, but whatever he did to it, I like it. ^_^ He's still got that "too cool for words" type attitude a bit, but not as much as in season one. He has fangirls that will follow him to the edges of the earth, not to mention a few fanboys. ^^;;; Yamato gets to see Takeru a whole lot more in season two, and Takeru's become quite handsome himself. I really, really, think Yama and Tai act like a couple in this season .. but I'll never get to see anything good, because I don't know Japanese, and it's not like I can go to Japan and just .. buy some unedited Japanese Digimon. =\ |
