Pete
Argiro began his career in show business as small child
with a love for the accordion, and according to Horace Heidt at the age of eight
Peter was talented enough to leave Buffalo, New York and tour
with Mr. Heidt. He has appeared on stage with Sammy Davis Jr., Frank Sinatra, Diana Ross, Barbra Streisand, Don Rickles, Eartha Kitt, Pat Cooper, Jackie Mason, Julius LaRosa, The McGuire Sisters..the list is endless.
After touring with the Vagabonds, Pete became Pete Stanton and the other half of
the famous comedy team "Stanton & Peddie"

"Stanton
and Peddie" were the only act to play the Flamingo Hotel
with the longest run lasting 10 months. With the Vagabonds and as "Stanton
& Peddie" Pete appeared on Ed Sullivan, Merv Griffin and the Mike Douglas Show.

Pete's
busy career had him playing in Atlantic City at the500 club,
Harrahs in Reno and Tahoe w/Barbra Streisand,in New York at the Copacabana with Diana Ross and
theSupremes,
the San Juan Hotel and Americana in PuertoRico with Fran Warren,Palumbos in Philly,Lido
BeachHotel in Long Island,Fountainbleu in Miami as well as
Playboy clubs in Chicago,St. Louis,Kansas City,New Orleans, and
Los Angeles. A man whom Frank Sinatra himself said was the greatest Jazz Piano player EVER

& Dustin Hoffman "Lenny"
....his
talents as an incredible jazz pianist/performer landed him a role
in the feature "Lenny" starring Dustin Hoffman. Pete was a close
personal friendof Lenny Bruce and was with him the night of his automobile
accident. This film appearance led to many more including
"The Beguiled" with Clint Eastwood and "The Final Shot"
with CharlesBronson. Pete Argiro also wrote/produced
the film score for "Journey".

Pagliacci and All That Jazz".
"Bella Mia" on DEC records, 1959 was a big hit for
this Buffalo native who lived in So Florida for 30 years and was a major draw in Nighclubs. He also owned the Rolling Hills Country Club, Upstairs/Downstairs Pete's Dakota Steak House restaurants. The last 15 years he resided in Palm Springs. Pete also
recorded the unforgettable "Please Don't Talk About Me When I'm Gone".
