Phantasmagoria:
A Puzzle of Flesh Everything
Has At Least One Blooper...
Just like movies and
live acts, video games contain bloopers... especially when
they contain live action. Phantasmagoria: A Puzzle of Flesh
is no
exception. It us known if some of these bloopers are left in intentionally,
or where honest mistakes.
List is in chronological
order, broken into chapters.
Chapter
One
- After Curtis
uses Blob to recover his wallet, if you neglect to return
Blob to his cage, he is not seen on his shoulder on the
still scene before Curtis leaves the apartment,
and returns the pet.
- At WynTech,
Curtis' telephone states Jocelyn
instead of Jocilyn.
- At WynTech,
Curtis' telephone uses different tones when you press the
buttons, regardless which buttons you press.
- When Curtis
enters Jocilyn's cubical to show her a Christmas photo,
you can see that Jocilyn was directed to pick up the
telephone as Curtis enters.
- During chapter
one, Trevor's turtleneck changes colors.
- Near the end of chapter one, at the Dreaming Tree,
Curtis and Jocilyn exchange greetings; however, in the
next scene, they greet again.
- Near the end of chapter one, at the Dreaming Tree,
Curtis and Jocilyn's drinks are on the table before they
are ordered.
- Near the end of chapter one, at the Dreaming Tree,
Curtis and Jocilyn's drinks are at varies fill lengths
that do not match up with the movies.
- Near the end of chapter one, at the Dreaming Tree, the
check for the drinks is seen on the table before the
waiter gives Curtis and Jocilyn the check.
- Jocilyn's pants change from black dress pants to jeans
during the transition of the Dreaming Tree and Curtis'
apartment.
- After Bob is found murdered, the
employee's of WynTech are directed to meet at the Dreaming
Tree. This is not understood because the Dreaming Tree is
far away from WynTech looking at the map, how many people
are instate of driving?
- After Bob's murder, the
employee's of WynTech meet up at the Dreaming Tree. The
silver wear on the tables shift between still shots and
the movie scenes.
- After Bob's murder, the
employee's of WynTech meet up at the Dreaming Tree. When
Curtis tells Max about Bob's murder, the pepper shaker is
missing from the table.
- Curtis' appointment with Dr.
Harburg is scheduled at 5:30PM; however, the clock on the
Dr.'s desk displays 3:00PM.

The beginning of the
scene, Curtis turns off his alarm clock. Followed by this
action is a telephone from P.A. Warner questioning Curtis'
tardiness.

When Curtis calls
Tom's extension, he gets an answer; however, Tom is not in
his cubical.
-
When Curtis' shirt
gets ripped by Therese, her computer turns off, and is
seen turned off throughout the rest of the scene.

When Trevor spits
out his drink in laughter, the movie scene does not show
the napkin that he used to clean up the spill.

Curtis receives a
post card addressed to "203", yet Curtis'
address is "13".
-
When
Trevor and Curtis goes to the Dreaming Tree, the menu
shifts locations between the still and movie scenes.
-
When
Curtis talks to Max alone at the Dreaming Tree, a chair is
missing during the interactive modes.

Max
pants change between khaki's and jeans throughout the
chapter.
-
Curtis' security
level is the same as the other co-workers in WynTech,
besides Trevor. However, Curtis complains that his
security level is too restricted and he can not access the
cafeteria.

Trevor's security
clearance is higher then the Vice Presidents.

When Curtis closes
Warner's desk drawer, Warner's monitor is turned off
during the movie scene.

When the detective
questions Curtis during the beginning scenes of this
chapter, a picture usually seen on the top left is
missing.

When Curtis makes his last visit to Dr.
Harburg's office, if Curtis tries to pick up the ringing
telephone, then looks behind the desk, the telephone is
still ringing during the movie scene.

If Curtis tries to call his own extension,
the operator says your call can not be completed as
dialed.

Jocilyn and Therese's security magically
moves to level 3.

When Curtis throws a
monitor at the Hecatomb, it makes no noise.

After Curtis throws
a monitor at the Hecatomb, the monitor can not be seen.

You are forced to
right click on the combined alien and energy field.

When Curtis meets
himself in the alien world, the alien wakes up; however,
he begins to tell Curtis he has not slept in twenty years.

During the fatal
stages of the game to keep Curtis alive, you meet with
Theresa, and she is on top of Curtis. If you choose to do
nothing to save Curtis, she will rip Curtis' heart out.
The problem lies that she has blood on her mouth
regardless if you chose to hit her or not.

During the end of
the alien world, you have a remaining alien in your
inventory. This disappears when you are at the circuit
board and when you return to Earth.
