This picture
is of a print, "A Champion in his Master's Eyes", commissioned by
the English Cocker Spaniel Club of America to commemorate the First AKC
National Field Trials for Cocker Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniels in
over 30 years. Since we were instrumental in establishing field trials
for Cocker Spaniels in the US, we were asked to use one of our dogs for
the print. The dog pictured is our 4 year old male, Phantomwoods Black
Lightning, "Flash".
He is a wonderful
hunting and field trial dog and we are very proud to have him as the subject
of this print.
"A CHAMPION IN HIS MASTER'S EYES"
There were a 250 signed and numbered limited editions prints produced. The artist, Patty Janzen, is a native of Colorado and a well known wildlife artist. These prints were sold to raise money for and to commemorated the first AKC National Field Trial for Cocker Spaniels and English Cocker Spaniels in over 30 years. This event was held in October of 1998. We still have a very limited number of prints available. The proceeds for these prints will be applied to the cost of the next Cocker Nationals in 2000.
If you are interested
