Animating Your TGA files
Before we proceed, i would like to trump for PhotoShop use as if you use multiple layers in one file for you whole sequence you can use layer sets for your frames and layers for each part. Then click invisible for ones you dont want to appear in spray frame and Save As....TGA if you use layer sets you can simply click on and off each frames parts (but you will have to enter layer set to Ctrl+Shift+Click the layers for transparency).
Each frame must be named FinalName000.tga (My example i wanted Pirate as my FinalName and had 5 frames)
Now create a text file in notepad called FinalName (eg Pirate) with this text obviously change to suit your frames
"startframe" "1"
"endframe" "5"
Now you must put all the tga files and the text doc into C:\Where_you_extracted\vtex\hl2\materialsrc\sprays
Now drag the text document to vtex.bat this converts is to .vtf and .vmt all you got to check is that the file is smaller than 120kb.
The files it creates are in two folders one is correct the other you need to move. It should be here.
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SteamName\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\sprays
Move it to C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SteamName\counter-strike source\cstrike\materials\VGUI\logos
This however is not necessary and is not the first place to appear when importing logos.
So if you want to spend slightly less time searching for your logo put it here.
C:\Program Files\Valve\Steam\SteamApps\SteamName\counter-strike source
