pretty important or something. After all, the whole novel's named
after it. Hugo's whetted your curiosity. You find yourself
dreaming of the mysterious cathedral at night and seeing it in your mashed
potatoes. Here, at least some of your questions may be answered!

is about the best set up I've seen. Mostly it's informative on some of the
history behind certain aspects of the cathedral, and has some of the best
pictures of the cathedral out there.

about the architecture behind Notre Dame. It has pictures, maps,
explanations of architectural structures used in the building, what those
structures are...maps, diagrams, absolutely wonderful. It was the site that
got my feet wet in Notre Dame. |

website is now defunct, but I thought I'd leave it up as an opportunity to
talk about it. The program was really fascinating -- it'd let you walk
around a virtual Notre Dame and explore it. I managed to find a copy
of the program floating around the internet, but it's no longer officially
available. E-mail me if you want it and are having trouble finding it
