What is your sight worth?


For you or anyone you  know who is contemplating  LASIK  surgery or is now experiencing its side-effects and/or complications, the FDA now says this about LASIK surgery:  http://www.fda.gov/cdrh/lasik/ 

"Do you know some patients may lose some vision or experience blindness?  Do you know about  glare, halos, starbursts, and that night driving might be difficult? Certain complications are unavoidable." 

"Even the best screened patients under the care of most skilled surgeons can experience serious complications ... you should carefully weigh the risks and benefits based on your own personal value system, and try to avoid being influenced by friends that  have had the procedure or doctors encouraging you to do so.  Be cautious about "slick" advertising and/or deals that sound "too good to be true. Remember, they usually are. Do your homework."
