Getting to know Nora is a compilation of daily caricatures and trivia about Nora that were published in the pages of Daily Express in May 1972 that lasted for four months.

Nora has not forgotten old friends. In some parties, she is seen with handsome Rico Lopez, a co-bit player of hers when she started in the movies. In fact, she took him as her leading man in Carmela, her first venture as a producer.

Nora loves to wear ordinary T-shirts with love notes printed.

Nora Aunor, of the Philippine movie stars, has the biggest number of registered fan clubs. There are more than 1,000 of them throughout the country, all affiliated with two major organizations, the National Nora Aunor Limited and the Nora - Tirso Philippines.

When Nora joined the movies in 1968, she heard a young lady writer exclaim, "Yang negra'ng 'yan ay imposibleng sumikat!" Today, the same writer tails Nora, as a dog would its master, to be able to get a good story.
