The superstar co-starring with two FAMAS best actors: Boyet won for Tinimbang Ka Ngunit Kulang (1974) and Bembol won for Maynila sa Kuko ng Liwanag (1975). Nora surprised everyone with her performance. She received her first major acting award from Manunuri ng Pelikulang Pilipino and FAMAS. The first Grand Slam if you will, since those were the only two award giving bodies at the time.
With Tatlong Taong Walang Diyos, Mario O'Hara turned Nora Aunor into a serious actress. She will go on to make more memorable performances in her future films.
