While fighting in the Ultimate Fighting Championship circuit, ABC television called him "The World's Most Dangerous Man". Ken Shamrock was perhaps the most skilled fighter ever to compete in the Octagon, and quickly became a UFC Champion.

After there were no longer any challenges to keep him in the realm of the UFC, Shamrock entered the World Wrestling Federation in February of 1997. A master of submissions, Shamrock has astounded many wrestling insiders with his transition from the UFC to the Federation. The superstar has improved his mat game in perhaps never before seen leaps and bounds. In fact, Ken was voted 1997's "Rookie of the Year" by many of the writers of World Wrestling Federation Magazine. Undoubtedly, his greatest accomplishment thus far was being crowned 1998 King of the Ring.

Recently, Dan 'The Beast' Severn, Shamrock's toughtest opponent ever in the Octagon, appeared on the scene. These two grapplers have already gone eye-to-eye several times and appear to be on a course to face each other in the future.

No doubt, Shamrock will continue to reach new heights in the years to come, as he represents the future of the Federation.
