My name is Peter

I'm a "GBA" (German Born American) living in Taiwan.
Before I went to Texas, USA, I lived close to Bonn Germany

Bonn was the Capital of Germany until after World War II. However, after the unification of East and West Germany in 1989 the Government decided that Berlin should be the Capital of Germany again.

After completing my basic education ,I studied electronics and robotics.

I spent four years in the Navy.

In June of 1993, I graduated from the School of Health Professions sponsored by the Baptist Health System.

I work in the Intensive Care for the Baptist Health System in San Antonio, Texas.

I hold a A.A. Degree from San Antonio College and a B.G.S. Degree from Indiana University .

I enjoy surfing the Internet, photography, music travel, and gardening despite desert-like climate in San Antonio. In Taiwan I have to limit myself to windowsill gardening. If you take the time to check out my photos you will see some of my successes of growing flowers.

Learning has become a part of my life.
Right now I try to learn more about Asia. If you live in Asia I would like to get your view and sign my guestbook.

Since August of 2000 I have been residing in Taiwan.
I studied for about 6 month some basic Chinese Mandarin in Taiwan at the National Taiwan Normal University (not enough to be able to speak fluently Chinese though).

I have been teaching English in Taipei at JR American School. Teaching has grown into a passion.
