To Mother Dear whom I have loved and
cherished through the many years.
You gave me life so precious and
dried all my tears...
Changed my diapers making sure I
kept dry and fed...
Held me in your loving arms singing
lullabyes as you put me to bed.

You tenderly watched over me through
all my growing years..
Was always there to reassure me and
quiet my childish fears..
Speaking words of compassion to melt
my cares away..
Brightening my days with laughter
making my life delightful and gay.

You nursed me through childhood
illnesses tending to my every
need..
Kissing my little boo-boos and
bandaging my scraped elbows and
knees.
You were there when I needed you
most with encouragement to give.
You didn't TELL me but instead
you SHOWED me how to live.

You've shown me how to love
unconditionally no matter what
others may do.
Always being patient, understanding,
and full of gentleness too.
With a heart full of forgiveness
you've forgiven mistakes big and
small..
Have been unselfish and generous
putting others' needs above all.

You possess incredible wisdom..
are a woman of insight and skill.
In my heart there will always be
a special corner only YOU can fill!

Thank you MOM for always being there
not only as my mother but a true friend!
I love you dearly and wish you a
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY!
