Thw first Mr and Mrs Dave Vanian back in 1977. Laurie was Dave's first bride. And the tour of the USA must've awakened Dave's lust for dark American girls on the goff side of life. Laurie originated from New Jersey, USA.They met in a London street in the summer of '77. Dave proposed 10 days later and they were married within 6 weeks. Of course Dave is now married to Pattricia Morrison of the Bags/Damned fame.
