He transferred from the 27th Michigan Infantry to the 2nd Infantry in the Great Exchange. I believe on the 1st of April 1864 and was Appointed Capt. the same day.
He was wounded on the 24th of June 1864. He Recovered from this wound.
He was promoted to Lt. Colonel on the 6th of December 1864.
He was Discharged for disability on the 14th of December 1864.
