Living in Hillsdale, at age 33, he enlisted for 3 years of service on March 28, 1864 and took the muster oath on April 8, 1864.

He joined the regiment on May 21, 1864.

Having reached the rank of Sergeant he was mustered out July 28, 1865.at Delaney House, District of Columbia

After the war he lived in Breedsville, Michigan.

Andrew A. Ewing

Andrew A. Ewing was born on November 13, 1833.

Living in Hillsdale, at age 30, he enlisted for 3 years of service on March 29, 1864 and took the muster oath on April 8, 1864.

He reached the regiment on May 23, 1864.

He was mustered out July 28, 1865 at Delaney House, District of Columbia.

After the war he lived in Camden, Michigan.

His last reported residence was Camden Mich.

Henry Ewing was born on May 15, 1841.

Living in Woodbridge, at age 22, he enlisted in Company D of the 2nd Michigan Volunteer Infantry on the 28th of March 1864 in Woodbridge.

He was Discharged for Wounds (disability discharged) for on June 23, 1865 in Philadelphia Pa.

Alvin E. Hank (Hauk)

Alvin E. Hank (Hauk) was born on August 22, 1835.

Living in Woodbridge, at age 28, he enlisted for 3 years of service on March 29, 1864 and took the muster oath on April 8, 1864.

He was reported as "Missing in Action" near Petersburg, Virginia on October 27, 1864.

He returned to the regiment at Petersburg, Virginia on February 20, 1865.

He was mustered out July 28, 1865 at Delaney House, District of Columbia.

He is listed in the "Kalkaska County, Michigan 1890 Federal Census of Veterans and Widows" under the Township of Boardman.

He was laid to rest in the South Boardman Cemetery, South Boardman, Michigan.

Thomas C. Rudabaugh

Thomas C. Rudabaugh.

Living in Hillsdale, at age 42, he enlisted for 3 years of service and took the muster oath on March 29, 1864.

He reached the regiment on May 23, 1864.

He was wounded and in Chester Hospital at Philadelphia, Pennsylvania on June 27, 1864.

He returned to duty February 23, 1865.

He was taken prisoner on March 25, 1865 later released.

He was mustered out August 3rd 1865 at Detroit, Michigan .

After the war he was living in Cambria, Michigan.
