Was at Bailey's Crossroads.
On April 25th 1863 in Lebanon, Ky.having been commissioned by the Governor of the State of Michigan as Colonel of the Second Michigan Infantry, He assumed command of the regiment from that date.
Leave again in May 63 to settle his partnership in Adrian, MI.
He was laid to rest in an unknown Cemetery, Location Adrian, Michigan.
