He was Promoted to Sgt. on the 10th of July 1861.
He was Promoted to QM Sgt. on the 1st of August 1862.
He was Promoted to 2nd Lt. on 01 September 1862.
He was transfered on the 2nd of December 1862 from Company "F" to Company "E" and was Promoted to 1st Lt. on the 7th of December 1862.
He was Promoted to Captain on the 22nd of August 1863.
He was Wounded In Action (WIA) in Petersburg on the 17th of June 1864. He went to the hospital and Died Of Wounds (DOW) in Washington Dc on the 26th of July 1864.
He was laid to rest in the Arlington National Cemetery, Arlington, Va.
