Willett, James N.

Co. "F"

James N. Willett was living in Genesee Co. at the outbreak of the Civil War.
At age 20 he enlisted in Company F of the 2nd Michigan Volunteer Infantry on April 23, 1861.
He served as a Private until discharged May 25, 1864.
After the war he moved to South Dakota.
He became a member of GAR Baker Post #. 39 Lake Preston, Kingsbury Co., SD.
He was laid to rest in the Avondale Cemetery in Flint Mich.
