WHEN DREAMS DIE

"By faith Abraham, when God tested him, offered Isaac as a sacrifice.  He who had received the promises was about to sacrifice his

one and only son, even though God had said to him, `It is through Isaac that your offspring will be reckoned.'" Heb 11:17& 18.

God would pass every vision and dream he has given us through fire.  It would be as if it would die. It's very painful to watch our
dreams or visions face death. And if we are not careful we may struggle to keep them alive by the arm of flesh. But faith acts differently.

If  really my vision or project is from God then I don't have to loss my peace to keep it alive. If it is from God I don't have to prove to
men that it is. God himself will.

 " Abraham reasoned that God could raise the dead" . This is the reasoning of faith. If it is from God, then even if he allows it to
die he would raise it again. It is important not to try to finish up in our strength that which we began in the Spirit.

 ".. and figuratively speaking, he did receive Isaac back from death." The point is that when Abraham offered up Isaac something
died in him. The promise of God was no longer as important as the God of the promise. This is usually the whole reason why God

allows every vision, ministry, or project he gives us to pass through fire. He would not have us loving anything more than him - not

even his gifts.
