The Blood, The Cup, & The Cross

 

In my vision, while praying, I saw a golden three-legged stand encrusted with pearls and jewels of all kinds and over-laid with designs of gold.  The stand was massive and held a huge golden cup, also encrusted with these same gems and sparkling with light.  Inside the cup I could see a crystal tube topped with a massive pyramid of gold.  Upon this pyramid, was another tube topped with a brilliant crystal globe, sparkling with brilliance!

Atop this globe was another tube, which supported a massive Cross of Gold.  This golden cross had a crystal at its center and was overlaid with two golden board-like beams, which formed an X across the Cross.

 

To the left of this massive Cup and Cross of Gold, I could see what appeared to be a lace tablecloth.  This, too, was interwoven with beads of gold and beautiful jewels of all kinds.  I only saw this in passing as my eyes were on the magnificent Cross!

 

As I watched, the cup was filled with blood and I was slightly sickened with the sight until the blood was sucked up into that crystal tube and rose into the massive globe where it swirled and swirled around the globe and then was expelled through the crystal in the Golden Cross and came out the golden boards in brilliant, rainbow-hued rays.  The sight was one of beauty and splendor.  It filled my heart with love and peace.

 

Turning my eyes to the tablecloth, I discovered that it was a beautiful wedding dress that defied description.  It was of the most exquisite lace and overlaid with pearls of every size and priceless gems of every hue.  I suddenly realized that I was looking at the Bride’s dress and at the Groom and His gift to His Church!
