Hip! Hip! Hurrah! John saved the day!!!
If more like John would
speak their mind,
And leave all the
fantasizing behind;
But all too soon, fault they
find!
Let’s give credit where
credit is due.
My hat’s off to John, I tell
you!
John was the one who saved
the day,
So, now we still get our
pay.
We owe John a debt of
gratitude.
Let’s give thought, not be
tacky or rude!
Let’s give John our very
best,
Hoping while he’s here,
he’ll get a good rest.
