Poor old elevator has seen its better day.
It has been used for work and play.
Poor old elevator, it has certainly been used,
If you want the truth, it has been abused!
Poor old elevator has had its "ups and downs!"
If measured by miles, it'd cover many towns.
All the people it carried to work and play,
It would really take your breath away!
Faithful old elevator takes us from floor to floor.
Sometimes I wish it could take me door to door!.
Good old elevator saves many and many a step,
Sure helps me when I'm all out'a pep!
You never miss the water till the well is dry!
When my eleator's broke, I just want to cry!
You get perplexed when you want to go, it stops,
When it comes to walking, the old elevator's tops!
