‘BEHOLD,
IT IS I’
The ‘I AM’ Does Speak
Isaiah 52:6
Therefore my people shall know my name: therefore they shall know in that day that I am He that doth speak: behold, it is I.
This is ‘that day’. And we read on in verses 7-10, How beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of him that brnigeth good tidings, that publisheth peace; that bringeth good tidings of good that publisheth salvation; that saith unto Zion, Thy God reigneth! Thy watchmen shall lift up the voice; with the voice together shall they sing: for they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion. Break forth into joy, sing together, ye waste places of Jerusalem: for the Lord hath comforted His people, He hath redeemed Jerusalem. The Lord hath made bare His holy arm in the eyes of all the nations; and all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
Jesus said, ‘My sheep know My voice’. How blessed we are who know His voice and how beautiful upon the mountains are the feet of them that bring good tidings, that publish peace; that bring forth good tidings of good, that publish salvation; that saith unto Zion, ‘Thy God reigns!” That lift up their voice as one; with the voice together and sing: For they shall see eye to eye, when the Lord shall bring again Zion.
God does indeed reign and He is putting it all together, the consummation of all times is being fulfilled to perfection in His timing and in His way. Everything is in place just as He has arranged. No soul is insignificant. Each has his place and it will be revealed as it is unfolded. And God will be glorified. And all the ends of the earth shall see the salvation of our God.
