PUT ON CHRIST
The Apostle Paul wrote to the church to put off the old
man. It is
important that we recognize the old man. And when we do, to recon the
old man dead, crucified with Christ, nailed to the tree with all the
ordinances that were against us. The old man wants to remain in the
temple declaring himself God. How do we recognize this old man? The
answer is the unveiling of The Christ in our lives. Put on the Lord
Jesus Christ!
Christ rising up within us will reveal the old man and his evil ways.
The purity of Christ, the glory of the Lord will shine upon those hidden
areas of darkness, revealing the anti-Christ with contempt. Hating the
garments of the flesh we will drop them off with distain.
Christ Iesous arise in us. Let God arise and His enemies be scattered.
Let Christ be formed in us. We are complete in HIM. We desire to be
clothed upon with our house from on high. Let death be swallowed up in
victory. Let the real Christ arise and be seen. Comfort one another
with these words:
I THESSALONIANS 5
But of the times and the seasons, brethren, you have no need that I
write unto you,
(2) For yourselves know perfectly that the day of the Lord so cometh as a thief in the night.
(3) For when they shall say, Peace and safety; then sudden destruction
cometh upon them, as travail upon a woman with child; and they shall not
escape.
(4) But you, brethren, are not in darkness, that that day should
overtake you as a thief.
Brethren, we are not of darkness, that that day should overtake us as a
thief. We know the times and the seasons. That day will not come to
us
as a thief in the night. We will know the day OUR BRIDEGROOM is coming.
CONTINUE
(5) You are all the children of light, and the children of the day: We
are not of the night, nor of darkness.
(6) Therefore let us not sleep, as do others; but let us watch and be
sober.
(7) For they that sleep sleep in the night; and they that be drunken are
drunken in the night.
(8) But let us, who are of the day, be sober, putting on the breastplate
of faith and love; and for an helmet, the hope of salvation.
(9) For God hath not appointed us to wrath, but to obtain salvation by
our Lord Jesus Christ,
(10) Who died for us, that, whether we wake or sleep, we should live
together with him.
(11) Wherefore comfort yourselves together, and edify one another, even
as also you do.
(112) And we beseech you, brethren, to know them which labor among you,
and are over you in the Lord, and admonish you;
(13) And to esteem them very highly in love for their work's sake. And
be at peace among yourselves.
(14) Now we exhort you, brethren, warn them that are unruly, comfort the
feebleminded, support the weak, be patient toward all men.
(15) See that none render evil for evil unto any man; but ever follow
that which is good, both among yourselves, and to all men.
(16) Rejoice evermore.
(17) Pray without ceasing.
(18) In every thing give thanks; for this is the will of God in Christ
Jesus concerning you.
(19) Quench not the Spirit.
(20) Despise not prophesyings.
(21) Prove all things; hold fast that which is good.
(22) Abstain from all appearance of evil.
(23) And the very God of peace sanctify you wholly; and I pray God your
whole spirit and soul and body be preserved blameless unto the coming ofour Lord Jesus Christ.
(24) Faithful is He that calleth you, Who also will do it.
(25) Brethren, pray for us,
(26) Greet all the brethren with an holy kiss.
(27) I charge you by the Lord that this epistle be read unto all the holy brethren.
(28) The grace of our Lord Jesus Christ be with you.
A-men.
I THESSALONIANS 3:12-13
(12) And the Lord make you to increase and abound in love one toward another,
and toward all men, even as we do toward you:
(13) To the end He may stablish your hearts unblameable in holiness
before God, even our Father, at the coming of our Lord Jesus Christ with all His saints.
HEBREWS 13:20-21
(20) Now the God of peace, that brought again from the dead our Lord Jesus, that great shepherd of the sheep, through the blood of the everlasting covenant,
(21) Make you perfect in every good work to do His will, working in you
that which is well pleasing in His sight, through Jesus Christ; to whom
be glory for ever and ever,
A-men.
He is coming! The Bridegroom is coming! Hear the trumpet sounding! The Bride is preparing herself for His coming. He is coming for His
Bride who has washed her robes in the blood of the Lamb. He is coming
for a pure and spotless Bride to present before His Heavenly Father.
