MATTIE'S CHRISTIAN PAGES

I was called to serve my Father in heaven by an angel who spoke to me at the age of two, at a time when the doctor had said that I would not survive past two or at least until 9 or 10 at the most. I gave my first prophcey at age of nine. I was saved at thirteen when I learned I had to trust Jesus as my Savior. I was called to sing for Him at fifteen, as a missionary at age sixteen, to teach at seventeen and much later to preach his word, and began to walk in these callings when I married at eighteen.

I have taught all ages in my Baptist churches, both in Sunday School and Training Union as well as Vacation Bible School.
I have been the song director and youth minister in several churches and worked with the kids to teach and to have "fellowships" after church and other functions. In 1971 I taught my first women's class and so God began to move me into the teaching ministry of adults as well as the children and young people. I have led home Bible classes as well as other activities. I have been so busy for Christ that it seems that I am not doing anything now for Him since I have had my bouts with cancer and do not always have the strengh to go like I used to. This breaks my heart.

But I still am envolved with church and bible studies and for the last two years, I have been teaching and preaching to those who will listen on the internet. I have several church pages as well as pages that I have authored. May you be blessed as you view some of them.

Feel free to contact me for prayer or if you have a question or if you need someone to minister pray for salvation or healing to you. We will not always agree on our doctrines but we can agree that Jesus is the Christ and that He died to save us not only from our sins but our lives as well. Be filled with the Holy Spirit day by day and follow His leadings in all that you do.
