Mattie:
Thanks so much for your message.
I just want to say that I am in total
agreement with you on this issue. In
fact, the ministry that God has given to me is dealing in this
very thing--that we must understand Judaism and the Hebrew culture in order to
really
understand Christianity.
This is part of the reason why we have so many heresies, cults, false doctrines
etc... throughout Christendom because Christians had departed from their Hebrew
roots starting with the Roman Catholic Church when Emperor Constantine in 325
A.D. began mixing Greek and Roman paganism with Christianity. Today, we call it New Age but actually, New
Agers hate that term because it really is Old Age stuff that is 2000 years old
that has been covered up all of these centuries.
For example the Roman Catholic prayer to the saints comes from the praying to
these Greek and Roman gods. If you ever
see the TV Series, “Hercules” with Kevin Sorbo, you would see plenty of the
kind of deities that were worshipped in that day and today is covered by the
praying to saints for intercession.
This was just the beginning of problems.
After the Council of Nicaea, the confusion of the Trinity started
because some believed that there were three Gods in the Godhead and others
carried the Oneness theology of the early church between 33-150 AD.
The trinity doctrine came about 325 AD at the council of Nicaea when Contantine
wanting to expand his empire said that enough was enough and decided on a
compromise of three separate persons in one God which gave both the
Polytheistic Trinitarian groups and the absolute
Monotheistic Oneness groups a good pacifier with this compromise.
Then in 1054, the Russian Orthodox broke away from the Catholic Church because
of differences over the Immaculate Conception or the Virgin Birth. In 1559, Martin Luther posted the 95 thesis
in rebellion against the Pope’s selling indulgences.
After this, the church began to heal itself and Christianity began finding its
way homeward, up to now when the Messianic revival is beginning to outpour
itself and Christians are beginning to realize their roots again.
I believe that it is also important that we know our Church history also, I
have also seen that millions of Christians are ignorant of Church history
thinking that it is not important.
But it is, because 99% of the church fights and dissentions arise because of a
lack of understanding of our roots which points right back to Messianic Judaism
and the Apostolic era with the church in Jerusalem.
The ministry that the Lord had given me is to teach through the power of
internet as well as going around mostly to Gentile Nations of the Pacific
Islanders who are very open to the different forms of Christianity to help
bring back our Christian faith, as it was in the Hebraic form.
This is imperative that this happens before Jesus returns. Think of it this way, we are going to get to
heaven and before God and we are going to find out that the custom and culture
of the Kingdom of God will not be American, British, or European style; but
because, since Jesus is going to follow his word, it will very much be a Hebrew
culture.
A lot of Christians won’t like hearing this; but I believe that this is how it
will be.:)
I hope I have been a help to you.
Best Regards,
and may Elohim, Yeshua, and the Ruach HaKodesh richly bless you.
Shalom
Peter "Kefa" G.Albers
