When They Were Happy
We had a Love that is given to very few in this lifetime. It was a Love made up in Fairy Tales, Dreams, and fantasies. It was destiny that we met on ICQ. It was Providence that we came together, to be as one.
How can I express in words, what I cannot explain? How do I tell you what Your Love meant to me? How just being near you, made my heart sing? How do I tell you, that just holding your beautiful "Tiny" hands, was a gift, far more precious, than Diamonds, Gold, or riches? How do I tell you, that without you, my life will be meaningless, worthless, a lie, somehow never the same!
You've made me reach higher, & farther, then I had ever dreamed possible. With your Love under my wings, there was no task, no challenge, too high, too far away, for me, to achieve! With your Love, I made the impossible, possible. How do I put into words what only my heart felt? What my mind, could not comprehend, or explain? I gave you the power to destroy me, with only one word. I begged you, to take care of my Heart & Soul, they were so very fragile, but they belonged to only you.
I have known "Great Love" in my life, but nothing that compared to the feelings you, and you alone, brought to my Heart. In our first year together, you have shown me, how much you loved me, what I meant to you. You worked, toiled, and sweated, along side of me, hand in hand. Together, we built a home, a life, a Love. Our home was filled with tenderness, respect, & kindness. A home we made beautiful, by the fruits of our labor. A home we will always have pride in. A home where we hoped, & dreamed, to raise our children in, someday. This Love we shared, it grew daily richer, fuller, complete, daily. This Love we shared was unknown to our hearts & minds.
Teri, "Home" is where your heart resides. Whether it was in Wisconsin, Brasil, Portugal, or Tahiti. The "where" wasn't important at all! You pledged your Love & devotion to me. I had also pledged myself to you, before our God. You asked me to marry you, and I also asked you. You accepted, and so did I, then why? Together we would have taught, & learned from each other, what "True Love" really meant. Together, we would have walked "hand in hand" along the path that God gaves us. Together we could have done anything, & everything! Apart, we will do nothing!
