Creede Colorado
Nellie and I went to Creede Colorado for a week this summer (July, 2002)
and stayed a couple nights in the Creede Hotel, the bright blue building on the right.
It's been there since about 1890 or so, and is a pretty neat place in some pretty
fantastic country.
This is Creede, looking from above, coming down from the mountains.
And this is Creede, looking at it as you are coming in. The notch right in
the middle is the opening into the mountians where all the mines are, (and right
behind the hotel in the picture above!) and the steep mine roads
in the pictures below.
While we were touring the mountains, Nellie and I found someone to get both of us
in this one.
