| Face of Scourge!!! Awesome issue. Zirchers art rocks..I can't wait to see how he draws Karla without the mask..that will be the final test. The protocols are released, scourges identity is shown, the backer of scourge is seen and his plot to kill every super human on earth is in motion. We see who i think the new tbolt roster will be, Norby is back in the picture, the new Meteorite in mock battle...ROLLER COASTER TIME FOLKS!!! |
| Charcoal has a fit and attacks Hawkeye, the team pulls him off, Abe and Karla being Hawkeyes support right now, Mel is there saying let chuck go,and comes down hard on Hawkeye. Moonstone looks deep in thought over these new twists, but no thoughts are expressed...yet. Hakeye then apologises for the lie and goes on to say how they are not just a team to him...they are friends and he hopes they see him that way... the group is silent. Karla then grabs "cap\scourge" and they take the jumpship into the Canadain Rockies. Hawkeye knows in his gut it isn't Steve Rogers, Jolt feeels betrayed by another hero, the team thinks if Cap is against us what hope is there.... Kalra realizes there is NO way it could be CAp...(She and REV. Meteor think alike), she breaks the holographic disguise and Scourge is revealed to be.... |

Jack Monroe(make sure you check my links section for Nomads site...Lots of stuff gonna happen there)The banter here is great...Jolt is like..."isn't he supposed to be dead...""Chuck replies,"Can't wait for the first time I am killed..." Scene change to Mt. Charteris and Tbolt HQ, Commander Bridge is told by Sharon Carter to leave the HQ that a CSA(commision) team will take over...Ogre sees all this happening and we find out that in tube number one is a MUTANT and to ensure ,even at the cost of his own life, that this mutant never awakes to be on earth...another clue... Meanwhile we see the new Meteorite in a training sessions with the Redeemers at a CSA training center. We find out her suit emitts antigraviton particules while a HARD AIR molecule sheath makes her nearly impregnable... SCREAM... the second last REdeemer named does the sonic scream thing...it has no name...no emotions...no voice, no thoughts...it is simply Scream... |

| Man that Bettle armor is sweet. Meteorite expands that hard air shell and batters him...the cryptic words from Warton are...he is awake and ready to make a deal...maybe he is ready to FIX things??? |
| Val Cooper is in with the Vbattallion(I think every "minor character" in Tbolt history is connected to this storyline...)Andrea Steadmen is there with Aubrey to help convince Val of the conspiracy in CSA. Scene change as Jolt gives everyone a history lesson on Monroes super hero history...Mach 2 shines again in figuring out some of the hows and whys... |
| Abe has determined that there are nanoprobes controling things, that Nomad knows everything he is doing, but can't stop himself from doing it...Abe uses the Mach 2 armor to tune into the nanos frequency and lets lose a pulse that frees Nomad...who is then ready to make "them" pay... |
| We find out Vernon Hatchway put him in suspended animation but then someone stole the body...Jack is awakened, infused with the nanoprobes and trained to be an assassin... |
| While Noamd is giving the Tbolts the scoop, Andrea is doing the same for Val...Warton is a V Battalion operative on the inside of CSA...we find out CSA scrubbed out Zemos castle, took out the cloned bodies and destroyed them and obtained one other vegetative but sentient body...The Vbattalion then started creating the Redeemers...to go and stop the man behind it all.....the man I said was behind it all(i have to gloat here) I said after issue 39 came out that the man behind the Scourge protocols is..... Henry Gyrich!!! When Nomad\scourge asked him why...the chilling answer was..."because I can!" |
| His hatred has caused him to plot to kill every superhuman on earth, the Tbolts were targets due to their desire to reform...and as a chance to use some mysterious hardware thats purpose is to kill all superhumans.... |
| The team talks about the plusses and minuses of going after Gyrich...if they attack it seems they are turning against the gov't...that plays into his plan...if they do nothing they become the target and Gyrich wins that way...Hawkeye's plan...WE have to be the ones to stop him... scene change...we see it was Gyrich was the one Dallas(citizen V) was to kill but didn't...there is one more surprise but first some comments.... I think Scourge is gonna be a Tbolt...look at what he has to be redeemed for, I think Chuck MAY be moved to a different place....issue 51 has his face and the new meteorites on the cover, both are black... maybe some family connection of some sort... The art really flowed, by Zircher, VEY did the inks, Nicieza the story... now the final surprise... the final REdeemr is shown and named...the FIXER(I know a few people on the Tbolt messsage board that have probably wet themselves with this news. Congrat Meteor on losing the "title", and HI to Silver Lantern...this review is specially dedicated to you...hope it filled the Tbolt fix til you can get back to your comics! |
