basic chassis info

these are the 5 main chasisses that are used today.  there are other chasis in the tamiya mini4wd world than these but they ar not widely used

super 1 is the lightest chassis of these 5 it is also pretty narrow it middle rollers . 2 roller mounts

fm good for tech traks because of the middle roller mount.  it is adequately wide so the car dosent hug the wall and not as much power loss on a set of waves or turns  those middle roller mounts can snap so take care of it 2 roller mounts   

this is the tz chassis is a good over all car.  it should be used for speed or speed tech because of its middle roller mount. 2 roller mounts

the vs chassis has 3 roller mounts and if used with side extentions& 13 mm bearings for the front and rear can make a good and simple speed setup

the x chassis has the widestwheel base and is the heaviest chassis. has 3 roller mounts. since it is wide it can corner quicker but is most sutable for a speed track because of its optimum stability that is caused by its wideness.
