The Silhouette--stop me when this sounds familiar--is 1930s millionaire playboy Lamar Canfield. He is accompanied by Margo Payne, who is "Lamar's constant companion and the only one who knows his secret," which is that he is also the mysterious cloaked and slouch-hatted crime fighter the Silhouette. The Silhouette is assisted in his war on crime by his faithful assistant Harry.

How successful the Silhouette was is not known, although Dominic Fortune and Sabbath Raven do not have high opinions of his technique. But, hey, it puts the Shadow into the Marvel Universe, so we shouldn't complain.
